The apps you have on your phone say a lot about you. They highlight your interests, hobbies and professional needs. While some apps are more useful than others, many of them are fun. Some are both fun and useful.
I took a look at my own phone and picked three apps I find both useful and fun to highlight here. While they might be known in certain circles, they’re not as popular as say, Uber or Spotify.

Shop by Shopify
Do you online shop from multiple vendors? Is it hard for you to keep track of what orders have shipped and when? The Shop app scraps your email for shipping notifications so you can track them all in one place. Whether I’ve ordered something from Amazon or from American Eagle, the Shop app will track them all. You can look up your order status in one place, rather than digging through your email. I don’t even remember why I downloaded this app, but I’m glad I did.

Canva
If you don’t know about Canva, you should – especially if you are a small business owner. Canva is a design app that allows you to create beautiful social media images and marketing materials from your phone, tablet or desktop computer. You can use it for free, or subscribe to gain access to all the features and images.
Not a professional graphic designer? That’s okay. There are templates available that you can customize to suit your business.

FamilyAlbum
Want to share photos of your kids with family online, but don’t want them posted to social media? FamilyAlbum allows parents to create an invite-only photo album where those those who have been given access can view, post and comment. It’s a great way to keep photos of your kids off the wider internet, while still allowing some sharing among loved ones.
