President’s Message
What sets our company apart from the others? An excellent question, and although there are many good technicians out there, you need to find a company and tech that you know you can work with. Here’s some reasons why we’re so great!
1. Daniel, the founder, president and head tech does practically all the work himself. We are not a franchise. So you know you’re not getting an organization so large that you’re getting a different tech every time. No miscommunication within the company and no navigating various departments and extensions to get help.
2. You need someone who can explain things in a way you will understand.
3. You need someone who is available when you need them. Although we don’t work 24/7 we try to work around everyone’s schedule as best as possible.
4. You don’t have to create tickets and wait several hours for a call back every time. You can simply email or call and you may often find you get helped immediately.
5. You need a company that will guarantee their work. No passing the buck. We don’t point fingers at other software vendors as many do. We help find the root cause and see it through to the end and confirm resolution.
6. Lastly, and most importantly, you want a solution that will not negatively impact another area due to ignorance. Such as data loss. I can’t tell you how many times someone said Rogers came in and replaced their modem/router and now their printer doesn’t work. That’s because the tech failed to take into consideration other network equipment working aside from just the Internet. Their negligence created a service call for us.
There have been many situations in which TwinBytes has successfully fixed something after other companies have failed. Daniel has gone through his Microsoft and A+ Certifications, however we’ve all seen technicians with great credentials that don’t seem to know common sense; and then there are technicians, specifically young kids, that have no credentials what so ever, and they seem to be genius! Daniel has received numerous compliments on the way he explains things. The best thing you can do is setup a meeting with TwinBytes and see how we might be a good fit for each other. Over the years, we turned down potential clients that were not a good fit. We don’t work with everyone.
Daniel originally went to college for Law Enforcement, doing security, private investigations and was a volunteer probation officer; but ended up in computers which was his true love all along. Isn’t it a coincidence that he now owns a successful company that, among other things, provides protection against those online criminals?
Daniel is also the author of a book called Tech-Knowledgy which was self-published in 2009. This book got Daniel on Rogers DayTime, Breakfast Television and a regular guest speak for some time on CKWR Waterloo radio.
